The most hilarious thing is he thought Rob Gronkowski and Stephen Gostkowski were the same person because of similar last names. He told me,

"Gronk can do it all! Catch the ball, and kick field goals to win the game! That's crazy!"

Needless to say I could not hold back my laugher after he said this

Your buddy needs to be a bit more observant while watching and he can't rely on the game broadcasters alone.

Print him out a depth chart to start. A three hour+ game will give him plenty of time to study it based on substitutions.
