The Bills twice asked Moulds to restructure the final year of his contract, but he has refused to do so and is obviously campaigning to go elsewhere. Greg Johnson, who represents Moulds along with agent Harry Henderson, said the wide receiver's first choice is Philadelphia, which is what that other receiver said before the 2004 season.
As convenient as that may sound, it might be more likely to see Donovan McNabb hugging T.O. at Texas Stadium before the Eagles pay Moulds the three-year, $15 million contract the wide receiver is reportedly seeking.

Though the Bills are trying to trade Moulds, it's far more likely that they'll release him before they have to pay a $1 million roster bonus in July.

Unfortunaley...I don't see us paying anything near this. With Seymour and Branch both needing to be resigned..I would think that's our priority with that much money...oh well...Stranger things have happened...

well thats a paycut from what he has right now..thatd be an average of 5 million per year while his current is over 7 million

Considering what Givens got, 3 years, $15 million seems like a reasonable deal for Moulds.

The Pats should try to make this happen ASAP.

i'd pay him $5m per year if there was minimal signing bonus and i could cut him without a cap hit next year (if he didn't perform).

Eric read it here first:

Under the new cap now, naturally.

Say Buff takes a fourth.

Don't you think Moulds would be tickled ... by a s/b of 9 mil
plus 2 years of minimum sals
with a third year at, say, 4-5 mil?

His agent trumpets that he gets 5 million a year.

We have him for a cap cost like Dillon's.
If he has only two years of speed, it would have cost us almost 4 1/2 mil against the cap each year,
with dead money of 3 million down the road.

I think this leaves decent room for Deion. (After all, our big cap space exists only to be spent!)

More to the point ... would THAT be good for us?

If we're going to pay $5M a year for a WR, I want it to be Javon Walker not Moulds. I'd like Moulds but he's too old for that kind of money IMO.

What about Kevin Curtis? He's a classic "no name" over-achiever who could thrive with the Pats. He's younger than Moulds, and would command less money. He's a RFA, but I think he's worth a 3rd round pick.

According to a couple of sources, he was tendered a the First Round level.

Yes, indeed that is the case. So much for that thought.
