Moss, Stallworth and Brown

What else is he going to say. I wish he retire and go away.

I understand your point and I think it would hold true for many coaches but not BB. I agree with Mo, he would say something along the lines of "I will only talk about the players that are here". That isn't the case with Troy as he has been assertive on him being a Patriot in 2007 in several interviews.

You make it sound like the Pats acquired Moss first, and then Stallworth, so this is a useless response.

Three words; injuries, injuries, injuries.

i mean to say : Stallworth said he was excited about playing with Randy once he Moss came

injuries? you made it seem like he would just come in and play CB no matte what. so useless post?

once injuries occur..then we can think about Brown at CB if he sticks with the team. As of right now..i dont see him getting any playing time at CB with Samuel-Hobbs-Gay-Scott-James-Meriweather-Wilson as the options ahead

The thing being is that we have a ****load of receivers, and Troy is getting old on the one hand, but on the other hand is versatile. His ability to play nickelback might be the deciding factor in carrying the extra receiver because in fact he would also be an extra defensive back.

I think defenses will double cover both Moss and Stalworth. Like Sefety help with Cover 2 or (we can only hope) dropping an LB deep middle.

IIRC, BB once said on defense you want to have 7 in coverage on 5 receivers; 6 on 4 etc etc. You want 2 extra guys in coverage was the main point. When we faced the Colts, and other teams faced them, both safety's played deep outside and "doubled" Wayne and Harrison up the field. Leaving single coverage on Clark and Clark won. This also allowed that rook to look like a decent RB. Addai is average. Just young legs.

If Moss and Stalworth are successful at curl routes (like Ocho Cinco) then that will really open things up.
