OK, so I am on the clock with pick No. 34. In the first round, I selected Tyson Jackson, DE, LSU. Who does everyone like with the first of the second rounders.

Was hoping to get either a safety or outside linebacker. All the safeties are available, and most may be available by pick No. 47. Of the top OLBs, we have Matthews, English and Freeman still around. What do we do?

1 Detroit- Aaron Curry LB Wake Forest
2 St. Louis- Jason Smith OT Baylor
3 Kansas City- Eugene Monroe OT Virginia
4 Seattle- Matthew Stafford QB Georgia
5 Cleveland - Michael Crabtree WR Texas Tech
6 Cincinnati- BJ Raji DT BC
7 Baltimore (from Oakland) - Brian Orakpo OLB Texas
8 Denver (from Jacksonville)- Mark Sanchez QB USC
9 Green Bay - Everette Brown - DE/OLB FSU
10 San Francisco - Michael Oher OT Mississippi
11 Buffalo - Brian Cushing OLB USC
12 Philadelphia (from Denver thru Oakland & Baltimore)- Malcolm Jenkins CB/FS Ohio State
13 Washington- Andre Smith OL Alabama
14 New Orleans- Vontae Davis CB Illinois
15 Houston- James Laurintis MLB OSU
16 San Diego- Chris "Beanie" Wells RB OSU
17 New York Jets- Jeremy Maclin WR Missouri
18 Chicago- Darius Heyward-Bey WR Maryland
19 St. Louis (from Tampa Bay) - Rey Maualuga MLB USC
20 Detroit (from Dallas)- Josh Freeman - QB - Kansas state
21 Oakland (from Philadelphia)- Peria Jerry DT Ole Miss
22 Jacksonville (from Minnesota thru Denver) - Percy Harvin - WR - Florida
23 New England - Tyson Jackson - DE - LSU
24 New York Giants (from Atlanta) - Hakeem Nicks - WR - UNC
25 Miami - Aaron Maybin - OLB/DE - Penn St
26 Jacksonville - (from Baltimore thru Denver) - Eben Britton OT Arizona
27 Indianapolis - Evander "ziggy" Hood DT Missouri
28 Oakland (from Carolina thru Philadelphia) - Alex Mack C Cal
29 Atlanta (from New York Giants) - Connor Barwin OLB Cincinnati
30 Tennessee - Knowshon Moreno RB Georgia
31 Arizona - Clint Sintim OLB Virginia
32 Pittsburgh- Eric Wood - G/C - Louisville

Second round

1 33 Detroit - William Beatty - OT -
2 34 New England (from Kansas City)
3 35 Tampa Bay (from St. Louis)
4 36 Cleveland
5 37 Seattle
6 38 Cincinnati

I'd go with Larry English-OLB. Or, L.Delmas - S.

The two guys I was thinking, but ... which one? I think I can get English here and maybe Chung with No. 47.

Good point. English here

So just to be clear on this, as Patriot fans we are not enamored with Matthews? He'll be gone if I do not get him here. Also, is Delmas a guy that everyone loves because most likely he'll be gone if I do not him here.

I like English, pretty close in size to Adalius. Is this the pick, Pats fans?

Well since you selected Jarvis Green II in the first, why not take Clay Matthews in the second.

I see some guys not picked yet who might be 1st rounders.
B.Pettigrew - TE
R.Ayers - DE
M. Unger - C/G
L. Delmas - s
A. Smith - CB
D. Brown - RB

I think a lot of people are turned off on Pettigrew and I think it was only because of slow a 40 time. I'm not even thinking TE in the three rounds we are doing. I am pretty sure the choice will be either English or Matthews.

Or Delmas?

While I'm no fan of Matthews at #23, he's certainly a solid choice here. I'd take him over English, fwiw.

You ignored my advice to give us William Beatty with #23, and give us Tyson Jackson, whom I personally don't want. Now at #34 both Beatty and Connor Barwin are gone. So far as I am concerned, it's turning out to be a lousy draft.

At this point, the way you have things going, my options are OLB (Clay Matthews or Larry English) or Louis Delmas at S. I go with Delmas because consider him better value, but you can argue it.

Unger is a good value here or Matthews would be a steal.

English or R.Ayers then Mathews would be good value and Sean Smith would not make me too unhappy. I think you can still get a safety at 47 though.

Didn't see that Ayers was still there. Ayers or Delmas for me. Ideally Ayers at 34 and Delmas at 47.

I really like max unger.
I really like Larry English.
You probably have a better shot of having Unger available later, so you should take English.

yeah i don't really think you can go wrong with either ayers mathews or english. i think then draft saftey/cb in the 2nd 2nd but i like the jackson pick i think its good value at the 23 possition

Second that, Ayers looked more fluid in space than English, and he might in time be able to move inside to SILB.

I wondered if you noticed that....I did put English in front of Ayers
