Once-Mighty Canadiens Headed Toward a Historic Meltdown

"I've never seen the fans of the Montreal Canadiens as upset as I have in the last couple of months," said Tony Marinaro, a veteran radio talk-show host with TSN 690 in Montreal. "A lot of fans thought this might really be the year that the Stanley Cup returned to Montreal, and instead they probably are not going to make the playoffs. It's been stunning, really."
