What decision do they have? Their defense is great with him and mediocre without him.

I agree. Talib seems to be a good fit here. With the offseason to recover, he should be in good form for the coming season. I'm thinking that, realistically, and barring any serious injuries, we could get at least two really good years from him. I hope the Patriots keep him

The thing with Talib is the same with Gronk.

You can't say injuries aside, with a healthy gronk, with a healthy Talib, etc...They will miss games in some part of the season. Actually I think Gronk is more likely to have a full season playoffs included than Talib.

Chronic hip injury, there's not much you can do about that, maybe draft or sign another CB to reduce his snaps, saving him for close games but then what's the point
