Did you guys know that Brady was drafted to the MLB as a catcher in 1995?!

The Patriots and quarterback Tom Brady will host an AFC Divisional playoff game. Brady’s ability as a catcher led to his being drafted by the Montreal Expos in the 18th round of the 1995 Major League Baseball draft.

I did know that he was drafted, but I thought it was in the 19th round. He would have been a tall catcher. It would have been interesting to see him running down the 1st base line.

Playing on a MLB team is special. Being "drafted" by a MLB is meaningless; like a Kim Kardashian wedding vow. I have personally known four guys that were drafted by MLB. Within weeks they were travelling on minor league buses and a couple of months later their baseball careers were over.
