God speed to him. It would be great if he can return but blood clots in is lungs....I'm hopeful he won't have any long-term health issues.

We all certainly hope he returns. The offense isn’t the same without him.

First and foremost, I hope his health returns enough to live his life comfortably for a long time. I also hope that he gets the best medical advice money can buy, and doesn't delude himself if they tell him there are risks to playing football again. I'm sure the allure for these guys is great sometimes, but I don't want him playing if it means he could have another incident.

But, assuming he is cleared to play and can return to his old level, he's a big boost to that line. Offensive captain, good run blocker, and a nice story. What is Karras' contract situation? It would be great if we could keep him as our backup interior guy in that scenario. We were pretty lucky this year with guard health (Mason had some injuries, but we never lost a man game).

Hope Andrews recovers sufficiently to live a normal life and, hopefully, return to football. Didn't another Pat (Tony Garcia) also have blood clots and didn't make it back?

Andrews came out of nowhere and has become a leader and a winner.

My wish for him is health and a good life. If that includes a return to NE, fantastic. If not, I thank him for his exemplary play & effort.
