Merry Xmas (eve)!!!

I am also pretty suprised...I figured Giants/Jets would be a lock for a 4pm game. I would like to watch that one and hate going back and forth during a Pats game. Especially this weekend while we will most likely be decorating ginger bread houses and I'll be prepping our Feast of 7 Fishes during the game.

Also, thank God for 1. A wife who enjoys football and understands my obsession 2. Two sons whom also enjoy watching and playing football, and 3. DirecTV Sunday Ticket.

Here is the TV maps for Xmas eve (this Sat). We get to watch our Patriots at 1 on CBS. During the commercials and TO's, we get to see the Giants run up the score on the Jets and Fox.:rocker:

I thought all games were going to be played at 1 and none after. This is going to thrill my wife because at 4:15 we get to watch the Cowboys and Eagle. (if the women let the TV stay on after 5)

Thanks for posting. Looks like we get shut out in Northern Virginia.

I get the Minnesota Vikings vs who the F cares it's the stupid Vikings on stupid Fox. UGH. I am cooking Christmas dinner. My family is expecting to eat at 2pm. They're going to be mad when I am at Buffalo Wild Wings from 12-3.

I'm near St.Paul and facing a similar situation. Though, I feel like i've been lucky for most of the year with the TV coverage. I guess it's bww for me too.

My only consolation is that being forced out to the football bar to see the Pats in this CBS blackout area I can watch the Pats while watching the Jets humiliated at the same time.

Visiting my daughter so the Sunday Ticket won't work, but they have the IPad app so I am good to see the game.....gotta love technology.

In the CBS map, if SD/DET is the late game, what's on at 1pm in the Blue area?

CBS only gets one game this week, so if you're in the blue area then that is the only CBS game you get - i.e., no early CBS game for you.

I'm a little surprised that the Tampa CBS station went with San Diego-Detroit. Obviously they are trying to avoid going head-to-head with the Bucs, but the Bucs are so bad and have such a small following that I figured they would either go with the Denver game (Florida Gator Tebow connection); the Pats-Miami game ( they've shown pretty much every Dolphin game they possibly can for the last few years, trying to catch Buc fans falling off that bandwagon; plus a fair amount of NE fans/transplants in the area); or the Jets-Giants game, for all the boatloads of former New Yorkers that live there now.

Precisely
It's as if they wish to squelch any interest in NFL football in the Tampa area by picking the least appealing game. The Bucs are SO poorly run A to Z. Nobody goes to games. The weather is great in the winter and the tickets are inexpensive and available. What a stark contrast to our franchise.

I love this. Just saying.

Just sayin'

Man, no kidding. We were at the Bucs/Cowboys game Saturday night and it might as well have been in Dallas...there were Cowboy fans EVERYWHERE.
