Merrimack's QB Joe Clancy

Does anyone know this kid? Had a very good season statistically (4,116 yards, 374 yards per game, 48 TDs, 10 INTs, 64% comp) and has been closely scouted by one NFL team (what's the bets it's us?). He's 6-3, 200lbs and watching the one game I've seen, an all-star game, he looks to have good awareness of the pass rush, a quick release and reminds me of Brady at times in the way he puts the ball in places that only the receiver can get it (low and away).

He looks to be quite some way from an NFL backup but as a UDFA development and practise squad player, he looks interesting.

His hometown in MA, played HS football in MA, and college football in MA. I'll root for the local kid.

How many rookie QBs does the average team invite to 90 man training camp, 1? If this kid is even invited to an NFL training camp, I'll chalk this one up as a win for you Manx.

It would surpass my Terron Armstead and Garrett Gilkey boostering from last year.
