I think the boring is because of Pats style of play. The defense is a
bend but don't break. Based on not giving up the big-play. Not taking
too many chances either. Plus, most of the defensive don't do a Thriller Routine every time they make a damn tackle.
Offense takes what the defense gives them. Also, doesn't feed the
ball to one person. Thus, creating a "superstar." Even though we all
know Tom Brady is the star of stars.
No clown acts on team giving ESPN hyperbole to feed the
media machine. IE. I loved Rodney's understated reaction to Chad
Johnson's mouthing off. Something like; "That little boy said he's
he's going to hurt me? Really." Chuckling thru the whole interview.
Rodney's interview didn't make the pre-game shows. But, Johnson's
did.
As much as we love BB. His sound bytes are painful to listen
to sometimes. I get the feeling he would rather answer in
sign language sometimes.
