4 picks in the top 100 (well 102) and many fine targets. The draft is especially deep at CB and WR (at least for Round 2 and 3). Given that there will players drafted at other positions, we should have two opportunities at several of these players.

SS
Cyprien
Swearenger

WR
Woods
Allen
Dobson
Williams
Wheaton
Patton
Hunter
and others

CB
Banks
Taylor
Slay
Wreh-Wilson
and others

DL
Hunt
Carradine
Moore
Short

Woods, Allen, Wheaton, Patton, Taylor, Hunt, Carradine are all fine with me. Curious to see who the Patriots target and even more so, what position.

I came up with about 22 players that are still there and are rated as second round talents and would fit the Patriots. Most of the players that you listed are on my list. Short is not on my list due to his " hot and cold motor and disappearing for periods of time"- PFW.

Bernie Logan from LSU is a guy to watch. Big upside.

Arthur Brown would be a nice addition.

Don't forget Safety John Boyett from Oregon. Dude is gonna be a steal imo.

I believe we have 5 of the next 70 picks.. right?

Thanks for the cheat sheet, MG, but my fear is that most of these guys will be gone before we pick at 53. IMHO, we don't need all 8 picks, and I would gladly use my 4th and 2 sevenths to move up in the 2nd round

My Priorities:
Come away with at least one of Hunt, Carradine, or at worst Short.

My ideal outcome would be Hunt/Carrradine and Blini Wilson (you can't have too many Wilsons in your secondary ), If you want to slip Allen in there instead of Wilson, it would be fine with me, as Wilson could very well slip into the early 3rd.

If we ended up with just 5 players and 4 came in rounds 2 and 3 (the supposed "sweet spot" of the draft), I'd be thrilled. This is NOT the year to load up on numbers.

Oi you nicked my list from draft forum!!!

The best player available IMO is Cyprien, but we really need one of the big 3 WRs left, ughh.....

McCourty starting safety.
A. Wilson running downs
Cyprien passing downs
T. Wilson reserve

Dang, that would be sweet...

My fear is guys like Woods, Hunter, Allen, Wheaton, etc are gone before #53. Then we miss out on getting one of the top receivers in a deep receiver pool. My binkie is WR Aaron Dobson, was hoping to get him in the 3rd round, now we may have to pick him at #53. I guess we can also hit a home run with guys like Patton, Terrence Williams, Da'Rick Rogers, Steadman Bailey and Ryan Swope. Lots of WR's left, hopefully there isn't a ridiculous run on them before #53.

I'm really high on Cordarrelle Patterson though, and it hurt seeing him picked at our #29 slot, but not by us. I think he has star potential. Top rated receiver on a lot of boards. Very explosive (yeah I know he's raw too). Return man, can play RB, and excellent WR. Perfect replacement pick for Minny for Percy Harvin, except he's bigger and stronger.

My fear is that all the top receivers will be gone and Belichick will
use it as an excuse not to draft ANY wide receivers.
