Mankins Postgame

My roommate is a big Steelers fan. He said he was glad Brady was injured in 2008 because he knew that was the only way the Steelers were going to the Superbowl.

Thanks for posting that.

Clearly a result of Polamalu's frustration. It's the only damage he did the whole night.

Couldn't agree more. I'm hoping we finish the season strong (SB or not) and Mankins gets swept up in the "good times vibe" going on in the locker room and on the field and thinks twice about looking for greener pastures.

It's probably a long shot. Business is business and I wouldn't blame Mankins for leaving. But it seems like it's possible if Mankins has a good experience with BB and the Krafts the rest of the season.

couldn't disagree more. he has some loyalty to his QB, and he's a pretty good guard, that makes him worth 8m per year? Or actually, was that the "insulting" offer? He deserves more?

Yea and woodley is a dbag too, clearly just hit brady out of frustration. I'm dying to see Mankins come back next year. He's a great player and he's passionate.

Too much is being made of Polamalu's hit or push. This is just Polamalu trying to push Brady from the goal line. I don't think he even was aware he was pushing on Brady's head. He just tried to get his hands on him and push him back.

I loved seeing Tommy spike it into the face of the crowd. Whether they admit it or not, we are so deep into Pitt's friggin psyche after last night, '04 and '01 that those maggots are secretly wearing silver and blue panties tonight.

i'm sure he heard about the steeler fans and their bernard pollard t-shirts.

It looked to me like he was trying to push Brady back so the refs wouldn't call for a TD. Players do that all the time when the ball is very close to a TD or first down.

However, he should have used Brady's shoulder or the ball itself as the focus of his efforts, not Bradys head. I don't blame Brady for being pissed off.

Except that the play was over I would agree with you.
