Its official. That's really too bad for Mangini. Hopefully he doesn't gut the Patriots on his way out. That would hurt things more than just Mangini leaving.

I am not sure this is such a bad thing, Mangini is very young, and probably not ready to be an NFL head coach. Which will mean the Jets are not gonna be too good for the next couple of years. What worries me about this is the assistant coaches he might bring with him to the Jets. Otherwise he can be replaced, especially with BB as our head coach.
