West Alabama just got a leg up on every D2 team in the recruiting department.

When you watch the video there is no one in the stands, big step from a small Div II college to the Superbowl.. hopefully he stays hungry and is a "keeper".

Interesting, you can see in those clips a quality Butler showed from the start of training camp -- a DB who's always aware of the ball, and plays like he has as much right to it as the receiver. 7 INTs in 2 college seasons.

The poise of giving up the catch to Kearse, the second-most-fluky catch in NFL history, then (I think) coming off for a play, then making the play of his life, is amazing.

They say that corners have to have no memory of the last play that went wrong. I know I was a basket case after the Kearse catch, thinking the Gods are screwing us again. Malcom, however, had his head on the next opportunity.

Then opportunity met the prepared mind.
