I just shut my TV off because they were showing New York Yankee love-fest. I did think for am minute bout some the players. Think of all the summers they played for their fans and were loved by them.

If this team (the Patriots) falls apart should you count the days until next year? NO. My dad died a couple of months ago so he had no more time to wait for a sports team to improve. Each of us has only a few springs, summers, falls, or winters to support whatever team. Make the best of it.

Right on, gotta root for them win lose or draw, even if they did look flat and uninspired today they're still our boys.

It wasn't so long ago that I decided I'd be content if the Pats just won one championship in my lifetime. By that measure I'm already wealthy beyond my dreams. For me to now waste my time obsessing over the "need" for more in-your-face winning, or whining at the lack of it, instead of just being thankful I'm still able to follow this ongoing drama, would represent the very depth of immaturity.

Anyone who was a Pats fan in the early 90's shouldn't have a problem being 2-1 to start a season. Also, as I recall, even when we sucked we played the Dolphins tough. Now it vice versa.

We knew we weren't going 16-0 again. We are back to having a "real" team, where the goal is first to win the division. With Buffalo, that will be a knock-down, drag-out fight this year.

There will be some exciting football games this season. (Unlike today's, of course )

Amen.

Nobody wants to see their team lose, but we've grown so used to the Patriots winning that we almost demand that they win.

we cheer we root, we have had it good to long, but we miss 12, but we need to move forward.

I'm not at all stressed out about today's game - we got pounded.....so be it. I've had to deal some fellow Pats fans that are on the ledge and I don't see why they are worked up over a Week 3 loss. Hey, after SB42 any loss pales in comparison.

I feel strangely relaxed today. Just going to enjoy the season for what it is.

Again this season was going to be a let down no matter what, I just did not expect to watch them get there arse kicked by the doofins... My expectations are just even lower now , does not mean Im no fan, its just got to take it for what it is.. So far a off yr..

Co-sign on that. Thank you. Great post.

Well said

The good, bad and ugly- I'm in it no matter what. Buckle up though, this one could get bumpy

I still am looking forward to the rest of the season if the dolphins fans i know have stayed upbeat over the past few years i can too after a single loss. it's not the end of the world it's just a game. Only one team has never lost a game in a entire season so why is one loss so bad indy SD and jax all have losses on their belts already this season. It's good to know we invincible.
