THE best city in the world. walkable and manageable like Boston but exciting like NYC.
being a Beatle fan I had to take the train trip to Liverpool as well.

enjoy.

Thanks for the info.

I am a huge Beatle fan too and would love to see Liverpool, but that will have to wait to the next time I travel to England.

If anyone would want to meet up for a friendly pint in a pub somewhere in London before gametime, just let me know!

There will be plenty of chances to meet up for pints - quiet and otherwise - over the weekend! But that gives me an idea; as we get closer to the weekend I'll post a thread on UKPatriots.com asking for some local advice on good pubs. It might help you to avoid being ripped off by West End prices.
My favourite is the Churchill Arms on Kensington Church Street (between High Street Kensington and Notting Hill Gate). Very friendly pub in a great location, good beer, very good Thai food, crazy Irish landlord...what more do you need?

I go to The Green Man before the games.

They have a tailgate party, held by BAFL. And its just round the corner from the stadium.
