Lets talk about the Jets game next week.

Yeah, the mods need to control this place a bit. It's mayhem and some of us want to talk about football. We have to play a football game next week.
Yesterday felt like the Superbowl again, except, the next game is LESS THAN A WEEK AWAY!!

Looking over that last march down the field by the Dolphins, I think we see a JETS D that's not handling pressure real well. Can we pressure them?
I think so
.

====================================================

It was hot on the field and the Jets ran out of steam, the heat was brutal.

on the good side the Jets D held the fish to 50 yards rushing, 4 sacks, a FF and a game winning Int.
FWIW the Jets CBs are going to be sick this year.

Since everyone expects the pats to go vanilla; watch them come out with 5 wr sets and no huddle.

Some of the things our "pundit" class says is beyond compare. One idiot said that defenses will go 8-9 in the box and double team Moss. Waddle was complaining about Maroney and that he doesn't carry the ball 25-30 times a game.

Remember the Vikings game in 2006? Minnesota has the #1 run and #32 pass defense. Later the pundits are amazed the Pats went spread.

Here is what I look forward to:

No more talk about "blueprints"
Lesser moaning when the opponent gets blown out.
No more talk about winning by 14 points means the Pats are slipping.

Honestly, I don't see them going vanilla. Passing for 50+ yards on 3rd and long from your own end zone ain't exactly vanilla.

That is of course, unless Bill told Cassell after the play, " nice pass Matt, don't ever do that again".....

I expect them to do whatever they need to do to beat their opponent. Attack the opposing teams weaknesses on defense and take away their best player on offense.....
