Great news on the Lester front:

In the next few days, I'm sure everyone, well WEEI at least, will be talking about Lugo & Drew & Manny & Matsuzaka, but let's try to keep some perspective & realize that the health of this 22 year old kid is a whole lot more important than the team's 2007 roster.

I agree, first and foremost is the guy's health and life. But I imagine he is also eager to get back on the mound and pick up where he left off last year. He showed some great stuff last summer, and as good as he might be this year, he could possibly be fourth in the rotation. Again, that takes a back seat to his well being.

Edit: This kid's got to be the first person in history who's thankful for being in an accident on Storrow Drive. If not for that who knows how far along the Cancer might have progressed before they detected it.
