Updating a previous report, the Associated Press, citing NFL.com, reports the Baltimore Ravens have released LB Peter Boulware. The team has not confirmed the transaction, but Boulware is not listed on the Ravens' roster. Boulware creates $1.3 million in savings against the 2006 salary cap.

I'd like to see the Patriots bring him in for a chat.

He was resigned by the Ravens as a PR move more than anything else, and he played horribly last season.
