Unconfirmed report: Bart Scott re-signs with Baltimore

I say unconfirmed because neither NFL.com nor ESPN.com have this report on their site other than on the Pats message board there:

Jamison Hensley, of the Baltimore Sun, reports the Baltimore Ravens have re-signed free agent LB Bart Scott (Ravens) to a three-year contract. Scott will receive a total deal worth $13.5 million, including a $6.5 million signing bonus. He is scheduled to earn $1 million this season, $2.6 million in 2007 and $3.4 million in 2008.

Sounds AWFULLY rich for a guy who spent, in 4 years, only put up 106 total tackles, 85 of which came this season when he filled in for Lewis.

Thanks BBFan. I said unconfirmed because it hasn't shown up on NFL.COM or ESPN.COM. And we have seen how things can get misconstrued with David Givens and with Ted Washington a few years ago.
