As an aside, that trailer was unbelievable. It sent chills down my spine and, previously, I didn't have high hopes for that movie. As another aside, Ernie Adams looks like he has horrific breath.
You must be a Star Wars fan. I'm not a fan of Star Wars in general and the trailer didn't motivate me, but it seems like the Star Wars lovers loved the trailer
More importantly:
Who is/where is Luke Skywalker?
Which Patriot is that supposed to be on the far right hand side of the image?
Collins.
Edit: but when I first saw it I thought it looked a little like Big Pappy.
Not sure why they haven't shown him yet. Does he die in this series? Looks like it's basically the black guy doing all the heavy lifting from a Jedi vs. Sith standpoint.
A major character dying in a Disney franchise goes against the company mantra: Happy ending = more box office.
That being said, I wonder if Luke takes Obi-Wan's place as the recluse, eccentric Jedi that we saw in the very first movie? At the end of ROTJ, Luke walks away from the celebration, and I felt this was an emphasis on the solitary nature of his character that carries on.
As someone who grew up with the original (and organic) trilogy, I disliked the artifice of the prequels and don't really have high hopes for the sequels now that it's in the hands of JJ Abrams who screwed up the spirit of the Star Trek franchise. He is a director with no real talent and is what I like to refer to as someone who was simply RPRT (Right Place, Right Time). Pure dumb luck that he gets to helm both franchises.
A couple things you can always count on in a JJ Abrams film: too much lens flare, artificial camera shakes, and a kitschy plot.
Now, if Christoper Nolan was in charge.. I would be the first in line, no question.

Not sure, I really haven't watch any Disney movies since Aladin and Lion King. And so does Bambi's mother, but these are rare exceptions, don't you think?
A Nolan "Star Wars" trilogy would be something to behold, indeed.
