josh doctson to replace dobson?

Names are similar but doctson of tcu is a natural at catching the ball. Dobson dropped that 50 yarder (penalty cslled buf he should have had it), and dropped a td pass. Stone's "dropson" moniker is starting to fit him.

Change one letter for two and get a much improved player.
 
Just when I thought that he had turned a corner, he lands in the ditch again.

His compete level, compared to WRs such as Steve Smith and Emmanuel Sanders (the one guy even more than The Receiver that the FO maybe should've made a better effort to have in Foxborough) is barely existent. There was no reason why he should not have made the catch, same as the pre-season game.

I have to ass-ume that the coaches (Bill, Skippy & Daboll) are keeping close eyes on the new guy Martin's compete level. If he can build on his performance Sunday by developing his route capabilities downfield, then Dropson's role in the offense might decrease, again, especially if LaFell is on track to return healthy.
