Jets Can't Even Escape 45-3 On Team Plane

Why is the picture taken during the day, don't the teams fly back home the night of the game and not wait until the next day. And the report says workers from Logan Airport, I thought all the teams flew into TF Green Airport in Rhode Island because it's closer. I think the picture is photshopped.

EDIT: My bad, it says its not the actual team plane. Should have read the link before posting.

Re: Report: Pats fans put sign on Jets plane

If they're flying it private, it's much quicker than a bus ever would be -- drive to gate, leave car with valet, walk on, leave. (I don't know what kind of charter they have, though)

Not always. The team meets at the stadium, gets their gear and uses buses to get to the airport. There is also a truck with the flight containers with all the extra stuff that follows them. Those containers need to be loaded onto the plane, everyone have their bags loaded, and the team embarked.

Then the plane flies to TF Green and taxis to wherever they are using for that day. The team has to depart, have all their baggage and equipment containers transferred to another set of buses and trucks and head to the hotel for check in.

The bus ride from the new stadium to the team's hotel would take the same or less time than all of the above, with the advantage of not having to transfer all the baggage and equipment boxes, etc.

I'm just putting this out there as someone who has worked as a roadie. Flying is great if you are going from, say, Portland Maine to New York, but when you are traveling 3 hour's or so, then buses make a better choice.
