Buffalo won't be a dome. But I read somewhere they are installing a state of the art system similar to what soccer clubs in Europe do to ensure they can grow grass even with the temps/weather they deal with.

There should be a rule that if your field isn't grass and isn't up to a specific standard that the game gets played on the opponents field. Force everyone to install these systems and actually maintain their fields to a standard.

This makes no sense. Who was hurt? Bentley, Barmore? That's about it. They had everyone else and they were a lot better last year on defense, it has nothing to do with injury. People being new? Who was new?? The safeties..? It wasn't a safety issue on run defense... "One, two plays can make a difference" is loser talk that Mayo has soaked into this team. They were nowhere close to being one or two plays away.

Fine, my point wasn't to argue that. But the national media is never going to be fully tapped into the environment around every team, certainly not 4-13 teams like we were this past year without any interesting aspects to talk about. And quite frankly, even players and coaches around the league aren't always going to be fully tuned in. "Damn, they fired him after 1 year without even giving him a real roster" is the type of snap judgement that a LOT of media, fans, coaches and players outside of this locality are going to make with this move and not all of them are going to take it on themselves to dive deeper than that.

So to the original question of why Kraft waited until after the year rather than a mid year firing if he saw it coming... I think he's trying to be mindful of the optics of it to the degree possible.

It also shows that some players have no clue what great coaching is. For high motor players like Wise it might be even harder to know, because they don’t need a tough coach to control and motivate them.
