It's not exactly a coincidence that the Pats' worst running game in 4 years was the year he was on IR.

And last year he was on the field more than any FB except Juszczyk.

If Brady is the lever that moves the team forward, then Develin is the fulcrum. Develin is the key to the run game that keeps defenses off balance so Brady can throw.

There was a highlight reel for Deion Lewis I saw put together last year, that, if you pay attention to the plays, could have doubled as a highlight reel for Develin. I'll see if I can find it again.

Found it. It was a Blount highlights rather than a Lewis one, but #46 is very much a factor in most of these plays
