Film day. Time to put the Chargers behind us, start breaking down the film and putting in the game plan.

Point well taken.. Im sick of all the media whores just keep harping on the celebration.. The Chargers lost the game we won.. Did we Steal the game ??? Yes, but we had to score 11 points , to win it .. And guess what we did it..

Bottom line, this was not the super bowl.. Time to think Colts..

The mistake the Pats made last time they faced the Colts was not running the ball up the gut against them. They have to do that in heavy doses, but also use the short pass to keep the D honest. Can't have them stacking the line. Though I have to believe Brady will command a little more respect from opposing D's than Trent Green and Steve McNair would.

Yup, already wasted our one day to celebrate by obcessing about what some naive and hypocritical athlete said because he couldn't deal with losing and he expected the rest of the world to mourn with him rather than celebrate our thoroughly unanticipated victory, not to mention what every embittered talking head and Bolts troll in America had to say about it.

Oh well, maybe we can celebrate next Monday - unless we are unfortunately caught up in tearing ourselves a new a--hole.

They say you should relish and appreciate each and every moment in these once in a lifetime runs...that would be a novel concept in Patriot Nation.

Rhodes and Addai are both good backs. Very similar to Dillon and Maroney. Pay-a-ton is well, Pay-a-ton. Cant stand the guy, but he is among the best qb's in the league.
Harrison, Wayne are both outstanding WR's and Clark is always a threat at TE. Their skill positions are stocked. How do our LB's and DB's match up? Asante is playing out of his mind right now, Hobbs had a great game against the Chargers, tipping 4 balls. They will need to continue this in order to have success this weekend. Tedy is exceptionally good for a LB in coverage. Vrabel is good too. Between them and Sanders/Scott they should be able to hold their own against the backs/TE's on passing downs. Hawkins will need to have a good game, better than Sunday, to help against both the pass and the run support. Of course, if Rodney plays, this all changes. Then its Rodney, Hawkins and Scott. Scheme against the pass? Gotta get Pay-a-ton off of his mark, make him move, and throw off time. (line match-ups, anyone?). Additionally, we had our best success against them when we popped the WR's at the line, further throwing off their timing. And hit the guys like thunder every time they touch the ball. Those are my thoughts against the passing attack of the Dolts.

Yeah, absolutely. It was a big win, but no trophies were handed out. Time to move on and start preparing for this weekends game.

So, when the Dolts pass the ball, I would normally give the edge to them, but considering Pay-a-ton's recent playoff performances and our history against him here in these playoffs, and some concern with coverage in our secondary, this one is a push...well, more of a question mark.

Offensively, I'd like to spread them out. Then run right at them with draws and that wham play where Graham smacks their dt. Need to score td's against them when we get in the red zone. I think we're going to score a lot of points this Sunday 30+.

Defensively, beat on Addai. He's had a tough couple of weeks. Make it tougher. Just try to take the big play from them. Hopefully, shut them down in the red-zone. Hold them to fg's. Maybe, get a couple of turnovers. They will move the ball on us. Need to keep them in the 20's.

The problem with the draw is the point of attack is the same each time and plays into their strength if Sanders is playing in. I think the Pats should run from the power set with Evans and Maroney. From this set, go to play action with short passes and screens to Maroney to get him in space. If Sanders continue to play the run, crossing patterns to Brown or the tight ends until he plays back.

The key is Sanders. If we can bring him up in the box, then check at the line and throw the ball in the middle, where Sanders is supposed to be. The Colts D is the worst of all time against the run. BB will break down what they have done different the last two weeks to fix it, then he will exploit it.
