BB said it's NOT official. There are things that must happen with each trade. Until then and if, they're NOT on the team and cannot take the field to practice. And if either restructures to join the team they can't take the field to play until 4 Aug.

That's what I thought too. I guess Chad is a little impatient.

Are you sure about that last part? I thought that was just for FA's. Is it for anybody whose contract changes? What if Mankins extends? Does he have to wait until Aug. 4th as well?
