Just wondering if people think Bledsoe might be the answer. I personally don't think Bledsoe was all that great, but I think he might be good as a stop-gap.
To be honest, I was turned off on Bledsoe long before Brady came to the pats. I can even remember the turning point for me, way back in 1997 i think it was. A monday night game against the Broncos (in mid October I think), both teams were undefeated, i think we were like 5-0 and Broncos were 6-0. It was the first Pats game I'd ever been too and I had 2nd row seats at the Bronco's endzone at Mile high stadium.
I remember early in the game, Bledsoe had gotten us into the red zone and I could literally see the whites of his eyes. I don't want to say he was scared, but... he did not seem confident and seemed very intimidated. He then gets a little pressure on him and throws an interception. I think thats what they call Deer in the Headlights or something. Anyhow after that, I was put off on Bledsoe.
Getting back to my original question though, even though I don't feel Bledsoe could get us to the superbowl, I feel that he is better than Cassel and might be able to at least get us into the playoffs. I'm not so sure Cassel can do that. And thats not just because of our last game, I'd thought that even before. Lastly, I feel like Bledsoe could make our receivers feel useful, especially Moss.
Its all hypothetical of course, I highly doubt BB would ask Bledsoe to come back, but... I think Bledsoe might not be a bad idea until Brady gets better.
