BB is closer to the end of his career than the beginning. Stick to what works : draft well in the first round, develop late round or cheap free agent "projects" that become key contributors, priorities on the lines and at LB. Use trades and FA and the occasional draft pick to complement TB with decent WRs and RBs while being stronger than other teams at TE. Give everyone a specific role and play them accordingly. Maximize roster spots and available $. Insure depth. Rinse repeat.

My opinion, FWIW.....I would say yes. This is what BB does, gets the player on staff, tries to showcase their talent where they can, then trade them for a need.

Would not at all be surprised..

Neither of these players have trade value right now. The scenario is keep or cut. The best we can get are 6ths or 7ths for a team wanting to skip the waiver wire.

Here's what I know on Dobson's hamstring: He feels ready to practice, but the Pats have opted to be overly cautious and kept him out.

Agree totally with @cpricenfl that Boyce not playing last night is NOT a good sign for No. 82.

Dobson is being kept out of practice for fear of injury, and Boyce wasn't put in the preseason game last night, and sat on the bench. Are we trying to keep these guys healthy so we can trade them?

Who would trade ANYTHING for either of those guys? Another team might take a look if one is released, but that's about it.
