This has an opening post with good commentary and information, which we definitely recommend reading.

You are arguing that they will beat them by ten in Foxboro in a couple weeks though. It seems kinda the same thing.

It’s not the same thing at all.

Bills are a decent side. I think they have an outside shot at a Wildcard.

No they don't.

That’s because the Patriots have the better overall record lol.

Put it this way: If the Bills and Pats finish with the same record, the Bills win the division if they win the next matchup.

That’s because the Bills have the tiebreaker.

Try it in the ESPN Playoff Machine and see if i’m wrong…

I wasn't highlighting the record I was highlighting both teams are 3-1 in the division right now. So it's not accurate to say you have the tiebreaker when you don't. You guys will have to earn it back.

Yes but you don’t seem to know tiebreaking procedures.

Because there is a game remaining between the two opponents, and the divisional record is tied, it moves to “common opponents”.

Bills win that because Pats lost to Miami.

Read tiebreaking procedures for NFL divisional teams.

Because there is a game remaining between the two opponents, and the divisional record is tied, it moves to “common opponents within the division”.

To go a step further, if the Bills beat Tampa and the Pats lost to the Colts, the Pats are screwed.

As it is, the Bills can lose to Tampa.

They just have to beat the Falcons, Jets and Panthers.

The Patriots have the head-to-head win tiebreaker first

There's no such a tiebreaker as "common opponents within the division".

It may read “common opponents”. I don’t recall the exact wording since I haven’t read it in a while, but I do know the Bills own that right now. You can check it yourself with the ESPN playoff machine.

Man, Bills fans are what Jest fans were in 2011. This dude is hardcore trolling you guys at this point.

The #1 defense right now is the Patriots at 15.4 points per game…..

LOL at Green Cow talking about tie breakers with the Pats when his team is 7th in the conference right now.

You're closer in record to the many of the teams below you than you are to the Pats. Probably a good idea to focus on that.

Should the Patriots rest their starters for the next Bills game? They’ll have a two game lead.
