That's certainly your right. Posting it on a Patriots fans website is another matter entirely, and you're a total ass for doing so.

That apparently has ended. You believe in treating what you perceive to be a negative with a negative. No one here appreciates it and we don't need your crap regardless of how "truthful" you think it is. Hopefully you will be banned soon.

He's not banned - but he has been removed from this thread. Hopefully he's now aware that I'd prefer him to take the lead of some of the other Jets fans who have joined us recently, as well as the legendary Gunnails

make an anti jets shirts shirt and have a good time. I wouldn't pass up the offer either

There is no favorable result to the outcome of this game. Enjoy plenty of beers and hurl as much abuse as you can.

If anyone here waves a terrible towel they should be banned and or shunned

Indeed, I will not be waving no stinking towel. I might wipe my arse with one if I have some Mexican food.

I am there to support my buddy and root against the Jets.

I am not rooting for the Steelers.

There is a difference.

Wh should I be banned for speaking the truth? The majority of what I read here is how awful and unclassy Jets fans are, an overgeneraliztion for sure. Just like it's an overgeneralization for me to say that all Pats fans, or all Pats fans that post here are one thing or the other. But, the reality is that many, many fans here complain about Jets fans and how classless they are. How classy is it to hope the Jets lose so that they fan base is upset? That was the point of the post. Why shouldn't I enjoy the fact that your fan base feels badly about the outcome of last Sundays game? The vast majority of you here were sure that the Pats would stomp the Jets - didn't happen. The vast majority of you could help but recite 45-3 like a mantra for weeks -meant nothing in the end, did it?

I just simply stated my opinion and some facts. If that is a banable offense, you've got bigger problems here than coping with a loss to a rival team you thought you'd have your way with.

Why shouldn't Jets fans feel disrespected by the majority if the Pats fan base. It's been clear to me that you all are giddy any time the Jets lose. So, why shouldn't I be giddy when the Pats lose to the Jets?

I have posted here for sometime, and for the most part, have been respectful. I chose to answer posts that were clearly not classy and pointed out some truth.

Idk if you were at the game Sunday but your fan base was terribly represented....85% of them were *******s and throwing beer bottles all over (WTF is that about), but you know what's funny....they aren't loud at all, there were thousands of them and I could barely hear that weak chant.

I would go and stand the entire time shaking your fists at the the sky screaming for an asteroid to hit.

The irony of a fan of teams whose fans routinely.....

- boo their own teams

- Spit on opposing fans and thereby turn off the likes of Cliff Lee

- Have wives and Ho's named Tina with BIG HAIR

- sing anti-gay songs in the bleachers

- mutter Same Old Jets after every single loss

....lecturing us about how Pats fan behaved on Sunday is pretty rich.

And I'm only scratching the surface. Jets fans are the scummiest, lowest class bunch on the planet. A friend from work actually converted to the Giants several years ago because he was embarrassed to be associated with other Jets fans after the strip tease crap at games. And a bunch of other stuff, including seeing one Jets fan tell an 11 year old girl at a game that he wanted to copulate her.

Good show with the lecture.

Nice little term I picked up from an SF short story years ago - trashlife.

Go and root as hard as you can, not for the Steelers, but against the Jets. Knowing that you'll be rooting hard against the Steelers in the SB and for this you will be forgiven.

Damn straight.

Go Steelers on Sunday.

Go Packers on February 6.

Have fun at the game. Heinz Field is definitely a cool place to watch a game.

I live about 3 hours from Pittsburgh (born and raised in Central PA) and most of my friends & family are Steelers fans. I was invited to go to the Steelers home opener against the Titans a few years back the year after they won the Super Bowl. It was definitely a worthwhile and fun experience. Heinz Field does have a lot of cool features to help keep the fans involved (I don't want to ruin any for you). The only problem I had during the game is when one of my friends thought it would be funny to tell everyone around us that I was a Patriots' fan. The taunting from fans around me was mild mannered and amusing until towards the end of the game when people got more and more drunk.

Best of luck... I was rooting for the asteroid on game day, I hope you are spared!

Am I to be shunned if I have a "terrible towel" hanging in my basement room that was confiscated from a Steelers fan after a Pats/Pitt game and has the tear hole where he desperately tried to hold on to no avail??
