I'd like some of your thoughts on a Mock Draft Game I've been running on NFLUK.com. We're only running a three rounder with a 90 minute time limit to keep things ticking over, and have had day 1 today.

It runs between 10am and 10pm, and we managed to get the first 10 picks in today - this is how they went down:

Lions - drafted Jason Smith.

Rams - drafted Aaron Curry.

Chiefs - drafted Michael Crabtree.

Seahawks - drafted Eugene Monroe.

Browns - drafted Brian Orakpo.

Bengals - public vote which resulted in Raji.

Raiders - another public vote, ended up with Oher.

Jaguars - drafted Sanchez.

Packers - drafted Malcolm Jenkins.

49ers (yours truly) - traded it to the Lions who took Stafford. In return we swapped 2nd rounders, I got the #20, #65, and let him have my 5th rounder.

Thoughts on all that if you don't mind?

I especially like the Crabtree to Chiefs pick. A Chiefs offense with Cassel throwing to Dwayne Bowe, Tony Gonzalez and Crabtree would be dangerous!
I could really see Stafford slipping to #10 if the Lions pass on him with no other teams desperate for a QB. I think the Seahawks could pick a QB but Mark Sanchez probably fits their West Coast offense better, and I agree with most of the other picks too.

Looks no worse than the Pro's will do themselves, though I'm not sure about the trade...who did you have on your list to draft if there had been no trade?

My Draft board for the position was DE/OLB, OT, WR, OG (the last two being desperation choices if you will). Ideally, Everette Brown was going to be there, but I was as open for a trade as I was as keen to draft him - the 49ers have a lot of holes. If one of the top tackles had fell, I was debating a trade up, the same for Orakpo, but Brown was the target all along.

I'll probably grab Beatty at #20 now and the best pass rusher at #33, although I might flip that, and take Barwin at #20, and see who's around at #33. A top receiver would be hard to pass up.

I'd have probably gone with Brown and passed on the trade, SF needs a pass rusher pretty desperately.
