The same interest as in ...1990, as it was in '01, '02, '03 on and on.. my interest is about that same.. rabid.
I'm personally still holding out hope that this doesn't happen. I'm sure there's smoke, but that doesn't necessarily mean that there is fire.
I want to see Randy get a ring with NE. Like Corey and Rodney.
The loss of Moss will definitely hurt the team, but he hasn't been a focal point of the offense. Maybe Belichick sees in the game films what we don't and the reason Moss isn't producing this season because he lost a step and he isn't the same guy. I mean Cromartie got burnt badly by Boldin, Mason, and Marshall and had no problem shutting down Moss.
As long as they have Brady on offense, they still have a shot. The guy has a lot of weapons still on this team. It will be harder for some of these guys to get open, but with so many weapons people will get open.
My expectations are slightly down, but other than the Jets game (which was a loss), Moss really has been a virtual non-factor in the Pats' other games than being primarily a decoy.
I thought with Moss we would have to catch lightning in a bottle to win the superbowl ala 2005 Steelers
Without Moss i think the superbowl is a completely unrealistic expectation
the superbowl is/was a completely unrealistic expectation WITH moss
