I wonder if he wants to reconsider his prediction?

The projected 2006 playoff field
AFC West: San Diego. Marty Schottenheimer is coaching for his job, just as he was in 2004 when the Chargers went 12-4.

AFC East: Miami. Schedules mean everything, and you’ve got to like how the Dolphins start out after the opener at Pittsburgh — Buffalo and Tennessee at home, followed by a trip to Houston.

AFC North: Baltimore. Yes, Baltimore. Quarterback Steve McNair is reunited with wide receiver Derrick Mason. A healthy Ray Lewis will re-energize the defense.

AFC South: Indianapolis. The Colts should have home-field advantage again.

Wild cards: New England and Pittsburgh. The Patriots and Steelers have championship pedigrees.

Ok, you remember the pre-season game where we were crushed by Bengals? We won the SB that year. Pre-season games, win or lose, it means nothing.

The Washington Times reminds us that the skins won a SB after four preseason losses http://www.washtimes.com/sports/20060827-011204-9513r.htm

Still and all, teams that crank out the kind of numbers our's has in preseason aren't necessarily headed for vacation in the post-season.

Not necessarily headed for the SB either.

Remember when the skins had Spurrier?

They would blast teams in the preseason, then got there asses handed to them in the regular season.

I don't think that is what is going to happen with the Pats.

But I don't think teams will allow Brady to hit Watson uncontested all game either.

And aside from Brown, we don't have any wide receivers
