Well we lost the game and the football three times as it was. Still not seeing the downside.
Up until the very last offensive play of the game where Brady threw his only INT, the only other turnover was Blount's fumble much earlier in the game. We went through 59+ min with Blount as the only turnover, so it wasn't three times.
The Amendola play where he was just inches away from scoring when he rolled and was touched proved to be very costly, as we would've scored and cut their lead to 13-10, and of course were in very nice FG range to end the game where we unfortunately needed a TD instead.
We aren't going to win every game that is close like we did the NYJ game where we were lucky to get out alive. I see no reason to abandon the gameplan for players who are very raw with limited knowledge of what's going on in a one score game that just as easily could have gone another way had Amendola not been an inch short of scoring, but that's just my opinion.
The fact that they had limited offensive production is likely what leads you to feel that there should have been a change and that is also just as reasonable, even if I don't personally agree.
