Because Leon Washington would look great with a Flying Elvis on his helmet and could be a possible long term replacement to Faulk in this offense.

Even if he did get cut there's no way the Pats could afford to sign him. He's in a contract dispute for more money. You don't want a guy like that on the Pats. Faulk is much more professional and costs a whole lot less. If he is cut he's gunna get picked up by a team with a struggling offense and has the cap space. Eagles could use him to rerplace westbrook, Buccs have a ton of money and lost significant players on offense so look elsewhere cuz Leons going to go where he gets the biggest paycheck. Which won't be here.

Leon is in the final year of his 4 year rookie contract, about 450,000 per year, why would the Jets cut him?
