As we all know Belichick is good friends with Urban Meyer. He attended workouts and practices as a guest of Urban Meyer when he was coach of Florida.

We drafted 3 Florida players in the top 4 rounds of the 2010 draft.
Spike
Cuningham
Aaron Hernandez.

They've produced plenty of terrific NFL players...not a bad school for Belichick to spend extra time scouting.

Bill's daughter Amanda is a coach for the Buckeyes Lacrosse team.

With Mike Vrabel (not sure if Meyer might keep him; hopefully he will) there and now his 'close' friend', I'm happy.

Other than Boom Herron and Mike Brewster, there isn't any other buckeyes I would take from that senior class this year.

Next year, I only see TE Stoneburner and LB/DE Nathan Williams as prospects for the Pats. But Stoneburner might be a 1st rounder by then. I would compare him to Jimmy Graham. Isn't a good blocker but a big fast target.

As for Nathan Williams, he didn't play any games minus the 1st qtr of the 1st game this year. He's getting a medical redshirt and staying one more year. He's your ideal replacement for Rob Niko. Played DE in his freshman year, then played 34 OLB after than.

They have a stud FB but we don't use FB so..doubt it.

They've got 2 other good prospects on offense. One we don't need help at his position. Mike Adama - LT. Many think he's a late first rounder and top senior tackle in the draft. Kalil, Martin and Rieff are all underclassmen and expected to declare and go before M. Adams.

Devier Posey was suspended for the first 10 games. He played against PSU and made a circus one-handed catch on the sideline. And, Michigan still hasn't covered him from their game last Saturday. He passes the eyeball test. Some red flags on the suspension thing. Some say hands aren't great. But, looks ok to me. Have to consider an athlete like him in the 3rd or 4th I would think.

Mike Adams might be a bust in the NFL unless he is coached by a damn good O line coach a la Dante Sch. For 4 years, he has been underachieving and wildly consistent.
Now the problem could be Jim Bollman. He is the O line coach for the last 5 years. 2008, they had three 5 star recruits. Mike Brewster, JB Shutgarts and Mike Adams.
Brewster for the most part is fine.
Mike Adams-Look above.
JB- Good God. I don't believe I've ever seen a game without this idiot not committing a false start in every game. Couldn't block. Turnstile.

As for Posey, not sure where the 2011 Posey came from but before that, I would have compared him to Braylon Edwards of the Browns. Drop easy passes, run semi lazy routes.

Guess he worked on those issues during his suspension. That being said, I can't view him as 3rd-4th round pick unless he has an amazing combine.

BB probably won't start going there until after the 2012 season, when Meyer has been there a full year.
