Weve had 3 good drafts in a row and alot of cap space next year. Personnel wise i dont think were that far off, but clearly need a change at oc and also move judge back to st as they also contributed to a loss again.

I dont think theres any way patricia is back as oc next year. If bb wont do it himself kraft will step in there. If im wrong then we are in huge trouble yes

The first red flag was BB canceling the rest of OTAs. The second was BB making Patricia OC, and the third, making Judge the QB coach. I have never seen such an undisciplined Patriots team under BB. BB used to be hands-on, but now delegating everything. Time for a new HC with an offensive mind. Keep Mayo and make him DC instead of the nepotism happening now.

welcome to what every one of what the 31 other teams went through in 20 yrs. And we havent even hit half of what worse other teams have had it. We are spoilt. 1 sub .500 season,1 playoff season, and 1 .500 season coming up. it really isnt the worst.

I’m sad but I am in full agreement with this plan.
I think you take a long look at both coordinators on the Eagles.
You look at Kellen Moore and possibly even Kliff Kingsbury if he becomes available.
We do not have a shot at Payton he wants a franchise QB in place.
I don’t hate the idea of trading multiple picks for Lamar Jackson or giving Mike White a look at.

If Zappe could improve him arm strength he has all the over tools to be a very good QB.

But in todays NFL you need that rocket arm.
I would love to give Drew Lock a fair chance in our camp.
Have to start scouting QBs in the draft.
Or see what the packers want for Love or the Niners for Lance or Purdy.
Call them with the same you can’t keep both of them.

Not trading up to secure Justin Fields has set us back.

After another year of Patricia, we will need another QB.

With a new OC and QB coach, we would be signing Jones to a long-term contract after the 2023 season.

Jones was the best performing rookie QB last year, and has regressed under poor coaching.

Unless we are lucky or pick in the top 2 or 3, we are fine with Jones.

The pats fielded a top 5 defense with myles bryant at slot CB, bentley & tavai at LB & two rookies playing well with extended time at CB. Uche is a potential star, wise had a breakout year & the pats may have found two starters at CB in the middle rounds.

The defense could be one of the best in the NFL with FA signings at LB & CB. They are probably 10-4 this season with an average offense.

The path to contention is right in front of them. Hire an OC, draft a LT & invest in the offense. Stevenson & Strong with competent coaching should be their best rushing attack in awhile.

We should have no problem signing Jimmy G in FA with Zappe backing him up. We need a competent QB not named Mac Jones to run the Offense.

I share your optimism. Only thing is.. will Kraft be as open to spend like 2021? As you mentioned before defense has some great foundation pieces, MLB, CB are draft needs along with a game changing WR, im not giving up on Thornton his acclimation to the NFL has been affected by the barnum and Bailey offense as well.

I ask, because the free agents we signed aside from judon and HH, have not worked. I feel as though Jonathan Kraft will have alot of say this off-season season as well. He makes alot of the teams decisions obviously.
