If Demps is here it doesn't matter if he costs a $1 because we don't have the roster space or reps to justify all of them. BB drafted Ridley and Vereen with the intentions of letting BGE and Woodhead's run out and having Ridley and Vereen step in, No need to change the transition plan now.

Food for thought: we've made a lot of Faulk/Woodhead comparisons. After finishing his rookie deal, the Pats gave Faulk a six-year(!), $15M contract.

$2-3 million a year im guessing he could easily get in free agency. Hes a shifty 3rd down back that pass blocks really well. He can get burst yards and has made a lot of big plays, he even scored a touchdown in the Super Bowl last year.

He deserves it too. I think it would be a good idea to bring him back if Demps isn't going to work out. It also has to do with how they feel about Vereen in his expanding role. Id like Woodhead back at around $2M a year, hes a luxury weapon that comes relatively cheap. I think with the lack of top speed on this offense, having another guy like Woodhead only helps.
