Am I wrong in thinking that most of these college players have agents before the draft? At least the cream of the crop certainly does, yes? My question is what influence, if any, does the player's choice of agent have on his being drafted? Do you think that if a Team's board has a grouping of LB's for example, that they might rank them with a number of variables, one of which might be (agent?) Sorry if this is a dumb question, it just seems like the past few drafts have seen more hold-outs or drawn out signings?

I know some teams will not draft a player represented by the Postons. Which is why we're seeing some players now hire one agent through the draft, then afterwards fire them and hire the Postons, with the Postons compensating the first (usually low-level) agent.
