i think the entire way the redsox handled finding a manager was a joke. they the redsox didn't even have the decency to call lamont and let him know that he wasn't getting the job. the guy flew out the wed before thanksgiving and he drove cross state for another interview. just pathetic to treat someone like that. he found out thru the media. the redsox ownership front office treats people like crap and im sick of it. ill take terry francona over bobby v any day of the week.

Everything I gathered from Maddon's interview last month told me he has no respect for this ownership and would sooner retire rather than manage this organization.
