I don't particularly care for this narrative. He led a single TD drive and was plain mediocre the rest of the game.

Oh most definitely but I was 12 and I loved it.

I was too young then when Brady took over Bledsoe to understand what was going on, but he was always professional. It was a sad day when he was traded, but obviously you can't keep two starting caliber QBs in the roster.
