The problem with Gramatica is that nobody really knows where he's at right now. He's been out of the league for a year dealing with injury problems, which may or may not have affected his performance two years ago.
Compared to a guy like Edinger -- who nobody was really excited about either -- it definately makes you nervous, not having any recent production to compare him with.
I've got to liken this signing to when we picked up Dana Stubblefield. A former Pro Bowler, but if there's nothing left in the tank, he's out of here without a second thought. Honestly, even if the tank is 1/4 full, I think he's out of here.
