Goodbye Jimmy G

San Francisco is my second favourite team, so it will be easy to keep rooting for him.

Goodbye Gorgonzola... I'll miss you deeply...

It sucks to see Jimmy go but I wish him nothing but the best in SF. I think he's going to be great and the 49ers are a perfect fit for him.

He was just 10 years too early to be Brady's successor

It seems to me, you lived your life like a Candle in the Wind...

Goodbye Jimmy G
Though I never knew you at all
You had the poise to hold yourself
While the D around you crawled
They crawled into your shoulder
And they whispered about your game
Bill set you on the treadmill
And he made you change your name

(Chorus)

Loneliness was tough
The toughest role you ever played
Belichick created a superstar
The bench was the price you paid
Even when you tried
Oh the press still hounded you
All that Felger had to say
Was that Tom sunbathed in the nude

(Chorus)

Goodbye Jimmy G
Though I never knew you at all
You had the poise to hold yourself
While the D around you crawled
Goodbye Jimmy G
From the young girl in the twenty second row
Who sees you as something metrosexual
More than just Jimmy Garoppolo

(Chorus)

Wolfpack back to being alone..

You guys might not know this, but I consider myself a bit of a loner. I tend to think of myself as a one-man wolf pack. But when the Patriots brought Jimmy in, I knew he was one of my own. And my wolf pack - it grew by one, so where there two - there were two of us in the wolf pack. I was alone first in the pack and then Jimmy joined in later. And nine months ago, when the Patriots introduced me to Jacoby, I thought 'Wait a second, could it be?' And I knew for sure- I just added another guy to my wolf pack. So today, I make a toast! Blood brothers!

I'm actually sad to see him go. I really thought he would ultimately be the successor over here .
Was never going to happen unless they expected Brady to be gone within 1-2 years. And that was not the case.

But anyhow, good for Jimmy. I know the Niners suck but he has a HC with a great offensive mind. Once they load up a bit on offense, Jimmy will truly have the opportunity to show case his ability.

I don't expect things to start off smoothly for him in SF. Hopefully he doesn't get rattled by it. Will root for him unless he is playing us.

I feel sympathy for our resident Garoppolite brothers and sisters. I mocked you and your wishes for the GOAT to retire but I'm fully in your corner now with a box of tissues. I know that in your hearts you wanted what was best for the Pats regardless of how delusional those wishes might have been but nevertheless I still considered you my Patsfan brother or sister.

JK

Wishing JG all the best. He and Jacoby truly delivered during the first four games of last year's SB championship season and I hope they'll have continued success in their careers.

So long, Jimmy. We'll be watching.

All the best and God bless.
