He should've been here for 9 years (2010-18), and if we were 4-3/5-2/6-1, then I would be on the phone with his people as soon as he cleared waivers ... But since we're 2-5 and unlikely to make the POs even if an 8th team were added, then there's no longer really any point to add vets other than minimum-wage ones on rest-of-season contracts...But if Tate's ok with that then why not I guess...
