I still cannot read too much into this either way. I didn't listen to the whole interview, but the part I heard really came off like an informercial more than anything else. It seemed like a staged promotional piece.

It was a staged promotional piece but what better way to strum up ratings for the promotion than to talk about the injury that has not publicly been spoke about by him since it happened. Tons of papers and web sites are reffering to this interview and linking to it all of over the country which means thet are linking to the promotion too.
