Chris Barker was claimed last year when the Dolpins vaiwed him. He remained on the 53 roster all year, but never played a snap.

I wouldn't get to know him too well if I were you.

I think he's in the guard to center mix which is logical, because the team wasn't shocked that good old Mankins wouldn't redo a contract to help the team and probably get more guaranteed money.

It's his choice, of course. He either signs a flashy new contract and makes more on paper,or gets injured, gets little and goes away.

NFL contracts should be contracts, but they're not. Guaranteed money is the bird in the hand.
