When the VP was talking about the refs favoring KC he sounded just like a Pats fan. I wonder if it'll work.

In other news, I was watching a news show and one of the hosts started crying about the tuck rule. That was more than 20 years ago for cripes sake, and it was the right call. For a team that wants the tough guy image, they and their fans sure cry a lot.

I think the same thing when I heard Arlen Specter whine about it back in the day. STFU and worry about important ****.

And to the exasperation of Felger and his bleating little ducklings there will be more to come. They filled many holes the past offseason, now we get to see who is a long term answer, who is depth, and which starting positions are going to be priorities to address next offseason. Getting to ( Lombardi) contender status is at least a 2-3 year project, and they have to get many things right to get to that level. I think they are off to a good start, but only the season will answer the questions.

Too bad a candiru ate the original Steely Dan, Peg.

Arguably the most esoteric reference I will see here today. Okay, maybe not... but definitely the most esoteric reference that's spot on

Oh yeah, I forgot about Specter.

I was caught off guard by Vance.

I do like Trump's idea of bringing back the Redskins' name though. After hearing the name for more than a half century I've had trouble calling them the Commanders.

Not a fan of either party exerting influence over sports in general. Shut up and worry about foreign affairs, the economy and whatever the hell else they got elected to do. I am sure none of them ran on a platform to oust the NFL of any possible wrongdoings.

With that said, I still call the Commanders the Redskins, refer to the Chargers as San Diego and the Raiders as Oakland.

If Philly wasn’t a defending SB champion/contender, I’d try to trade for DeVonta Smith; maybe Goedert too. PHI doesn’t seem to target the middle of the field a ton. The thing with Goedert is, due to his injury history, it would have to be for a mid rounder or something.

Jaylen Waddle should move to the Z spot in that offense, so he can move around & get free access off the line. He’d be much more productive & dangerous.

Spector was *****ing about BS. This is different. The NFL was desperate to erase TB12 and the cheating Patriots that they had their officials call Chiefs games totally different than other one. In fact, this past SB was so disastrous for the Chiefs because the noise was so loud they had to call it straight up. It proved Mahomes and Reid are just smoke and mirrors.

Vance is correct in saying that. If called properly all season long last year the Chiefs wouldn't have even made the playoffs. Thats how high the level of fixing Chiefs games have been for almost 8 years now.
