It's easy, and only takes a few moments.-- Britt ($535,000), Williams ($620,000) and Ventrone ($460,000), all signed one-year deals for the league minimum based on their credited seasons of NFL service, which due to injuries suffered prior to the start of a season can differ from how many seasons a player has been in the NFL with a team.
That's the case for Williams, who missed all of last season with a knee injury suffered in the first preseason game and sat out the 2006 season in Minnesota after fracturing his left knee, and Ventrone, who missed the entire 2006 season with an injury.
Britt's salary is for a player with three credited seasons. Williams's is for a player with between four and six credited seasons and Ventrone's is for a player with two credited seasons.
I won't merge, but Miguel posted the same thing yesterday:

...as to accrued/credited seasons, they determine minimum base salary. Britt isn't going to make more than minimum base salary; Ventrone, as an ERFA, makes minimum base salary by default.
